Many people are being moved by emotional stories and seduced into accepting another Jesus rather than the Jesus of the Bible. Sadly, even Christians are being deceived into this false message about God and embracing an all-inclusive counterfeit Christianity that draws in fans but distorts the Bible. How does the Bible compare to the theology taught by William P. Young’s characters in The Shack? Learn the truth in this one hour audio message presented by Pastor Joe Schimmel. Get your copy now!
Because The Shack continues to be a best seller, and evangelicals and otherwise conservative churches are so taken in by this novel, we felt it was necessary to call attention to this subject again. Evangelicals have embraced the book and pastors have bought the book by the cases for their church members, even centering bible studies around it. Why would a book that contains 13 separate heresies about God be so popular with those who ought to know Scripture? It has caught on like wildfire because Christians today let their feelings determine truth rather than let truth dictate their feelings. Following are the 13 false representations of God found in The Shack.

Are church leaders aligning themselves with Allah?
Has anyone noticed how hundreds of professing Christian leaders are compromising their faith by uniting with Muslims? Could it be that we are witnessing the formation of the prophesied one world religion under Antichrist? (Revelation 13:1-18) For example, Brian McLaren, a prominent Emerging Church leader, announced plans to celebrate the Islamic holiday, Ramadan, commemorating Muhammed’s reception of the Quran. On the fourth of July, when most Americans were celebrating the birth of our nation, Rick Warren, “America’s Pastor”, addressed the Islamic Society of North America; which, the Department of Justice categorized two years ago as a co-conspirator in financing a foreign terrorist group!

On July 5 the Washington Times online reported that Pastor Rick Warren told his Islamic audience, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), that he envisions “a coalition of faith”. Whether Pastor Warren knows this or not, this is just another term for the coming one-world religion outlined in Revelation 13. It is further outlined in Revelation 17. I have not taken on the issue of Rick Warren all that often, but after reading what the Washington Times had to say about his message to a group of spiritually lost Muslims, I feel I must address this in an open letter to who many say is the most influential pastor in America and some would say the world.
Pastor Warren, you pleaded with 8,000 Muslim listeners on Saturday, July 4, to work together to solve the world’s greatest problems by cooperating in a series of interfaith projects. You said, “Muslims and Christians can work together for the common good without compromising my convictions or your convictions.” (more…)
